Our annual refresher course offers the chance to experience or revisit a selection of the tried and tested classical hands-on skills and procedures that Walter Carrington developed from his close association with FM Alexander. The teaching team will be led by CTC’s Directors of Training, Alan Philps and Duncan Knowles, who both trained under Walter and Dilys Carrington, graduating from the Constructive Teaching Centre in 1985 and 2001, respectively.   

Each day, Alan and Duncan will demonstrate a sequence of traditional CTC procedures/games and hands-on teaching skills, after which all participants will have the opportunity to experience the procedures individually in a small group setting, with hands-on guidance from a member of our teaching team. The content of the course varies each year. 

This is an entirely hands-on workshop, so numbers will be limited. The teacher-to-participant ratio will be high, as is our tradition at CTC.
