This annual refresher course is an opportunity for you to experience or revisit the depth and clarity of the classical hands-on skills and procedures developed by Walter Carrington through his close association with F. M. Alexander.
Guided by CTC’s Directors of Training, Alan Philps and Duncan Knowles, you’ll explore and refine your own understanding of these time-tested procedures. Both Alan and Duncan trained directly under Walter and Dilys Carrington, and teach from a deep grounding and many years of experience in this tradition.
Each day, you’ll watch demonstrations of key traditional procedures and hands-on teaching sequences before stepping into practice yourself. Working in small groups, you’ll receive personal, hands-on guidance from a member of our teaching team.
The course content varies and evolves each year. This is an entirely hands-on workshop designed with a high teacher-to-student to ensure a high level of individual attention and a vibrant learning atmosphere.
